COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE AND THE PLANET<\/h1>\n

Pl\u00e0udite Teatre proposes a strategy that generates opportunities<\/strong> for social justice through the Performing Arts and Theatre.<\/span><\/h2>\n

We assume the commitment to sustainability, responsible consumption, circular economy, social justice and respect for all people, the Planet and the Environment in our projects.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We have specialized in SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT<\/strong> through the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, funded by the European Union Next Generation within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.<\/p>\n

We affirm that our organization promotes all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong><\/a><\/span> because they are interconnected.<\/p>\n

We promote critical thinking and education for Peace, respect, coexistence, active and responsible citizenship, and care for the Planet. It is a civic and political duty of all people, organizations, and governments around the world.<\/p>\n

We also affirm that it is necessary to include CULTURE, both access and practice,<\/strong> as a right and goal for the sustainable development of People and the Planet, and we carry out awareness-raising actions.<\/h4>\n

1. End poverty:<\/strong> Education and Culture as a right and an opportunity to end poverty. “Poverty is not natural; it is man-made and can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings<\/em>“<\/strong><\/span> Nelson Mandela.<\/span>
\n2.<\/strong> Zero hunger:<\/strong> ensure that everyone has access to healthy food.
\n3.<\/strong> Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.<\/strong> We foster happiness, empathy, coexistence, Peace, and respect.
\n4. Ensure inclusive, equitable, and quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.<\/strong> 360\u00b0 Education throughout life. We have designed intergenerational projects for this purpose.
\n5. Gender equality:<\/strong> Achieve gender equality through the empowerment of adult women, young women, and girls.<\/span>
\n6. Clean water and sanitation:<\/strong> ensure that everyone has access to drinking water and sanitation facilities. Sustainable water management. Conscious consumption. Critical thinking and education.
\n7. Affordable and clean energy:<\/strong> access to energy services for all people and sustainable resource management, promoting responsible and conscious consumption, public transport, bicycle use, etc.
\n8. Decent work and economic growth:<\/strong> Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all people.
\n9. Foster innovation:<\/strong> opportunity and equitable access to cultural life, optimization of local resources.
\n10. Reduced inequalities:<\/strong> Reduce inequality within and among countries.
\n11. Sustainable cities and communities:<\/strong> contribute to making cities and settlements sustainable, inclusive, safe, and resilient.
\n12. Responsible consumption and production:<\/strong> we promote critical thinking and responsible, local consumption, local suppliers, circular economy, organic farming and permaculture; we are also connected to the Cooperative l’Economat Social<\/a> de Sants<\/a> (Barcelona)<\/a>. We r<\/span>educe waste and recycle. We repair electronic devices, computers, and phones, giving them a second life within our organization and\/or donating them to people who need them. We carry out awareness actions.
\n13. Climate action:<\/strong> reducing greenhouse gas emissions is urgent. We promote waste reduction, recycling, circular economy, public transport or cycling, and conduct climate change awareness and environmental protection actions.
\n14. Life below water:<\/strong> Understanding that the water cycle is vital for Life. We promote water care, responsible and conscious use, and avoiding waste disposal into water (oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, drains, etc.) to ensure life on the planet. Minimize plastic use, especially single-use plastics.
\n15. Life on land:<\/strong> we promote respect for Life and Nature in all its expressions. We plant trees in schools and carry out actions to recognize and respect biodiversity. “Nature can live without people, but people cannot live without nature<\/em>.<\/strong>“<\/span> Wangari Maathai<\/a>, environmentalist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
\n16. Peace and justice:<\/strong> Promote respectful, peaceful, and inclusive societies to achieve sustainable development, provide access to justice for all people, and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.
\n17. Partnerships for the goals:<\/strong> we collaborate to strengthen, implement, and revitalize global partnerships for sustainable development, and raise awareness that citizen and institutional collaboration is essential to care for the Planet and its inhabitants.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
