Gender

In our projects, we implement measures to eliminate stereotypes and prejudices.

We have developed a plan to integrate a gender perspective at all levels of our organization, which is periodically reviewed.

We incorporate a gender perspective and an intersectional vision, valuing and adapting to participants from this perspective. We design projects considering all the elements involved in identity construction and interrelated forms of exclusion. We apply this vision transversally across all project phases: activity design, objectives, methodology, monitoring indicators, impact, evaluation, and improvement proposals.

We highlight stereotypes and micro-machismos within the heteropatriarchal society to overcome gender roles and build an equal narrative in opportunities and treatment for everyone.

Periodically, we carry out theatrical actions to denounce violence against women, often written and performed by young people. We also hold debates and discussions in schools and high schools to raise awareness among younger audiences.

We promote women’s visibility: we empower women, especially girls and young people in their identity construction, and connect them with historical figures of significant women who are often little known and unrecognized.
