Fostering young critical thinking: Young people speaking to other young people
Critical theater in highschools is a project created by Plàudite Teatre that fosters the critical sense of young people through theatre, which invites young people to reflect, create and interpret a show.
The workshops are free and open to young people who want to participate.
Promoting critical thinking #CriticalThinking
Young people from diverse backgrounds connect with each other, sharing concerns and attitudes toward life and the society they live in, and expressing them through theater. Through an artistic experience like theater, a different kind of connection is forged, blurring potential prejudices and stigmas. These young people participate voluntarily and openly discuss topics of interest to them.
With the support of the Youth Area of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council, Department of Social Rights and Inclusion of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the Health Area of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
Project recognized as good practice by the Barcelona Provincial Council.
9th EDITION Cours 2025-26
Young people from four public institutes in the city of L’H participate: Apel·les Mestres, Bellvitge, Bisbe Berenguer, Jaume Botey i Pedraforca.
The chosen topic is “Fake News“. Among all the young people who participate, they create a work that they jointly present at the Barradas Auditorium, a municipal facility in the city of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona.
8th EDITION Cours 2024-25
Young people from four public institutes in the city of L’H participate: Apel·les Mestres, Bellvitge, Jaume Botey and Pedraforca.
This year’s theme is ‘Joy and Laughter‘. Among all the young people who participate, they will create a work that they will jointly present at a municipal facility in the city.
7th EDITION Cours 2023-24: “La Soledat no desitjada”
Hi participen més de 50 joves de 4 Instituts públic de L’Hospitalet de Llobregat: Apel·les Mestres, Jaume Botey, Bellvitge, Pedraforca.

5th EDITION Cours 2021-22: “Combatre els discursos d’odi“
Hi participen joves de 6 Instituts públics: Jaume Botey, Apel·les Mestres, Bellvitge, Gornal, Pedraforca i Pere Lliscart de L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona.
Masclisme, homofòbia, assetjament escolar, gordofòbia, etc. Una sèrie de peces teatrals que ens faran reflexionar sobre els prejudicis i estereotips que caracteritzen els discursos hegemònics i ens presentaran perspectives diferents Descarrega el PDF

4th EDITION Cours 2020-21: “Ecologia en temps de pandèmia, incoherència plàstica”
Més de 50 jóves co-creen una reflexió al voltant de l’Ecologia i el respecte al Planeta.
Participen jóves de 5 Instituts: Jaume Botey, Apel·les Mestres, Bellvitge, Gornal i Pedraforca de L’Hospitalet de Llobregat Barcelona.
3rd EDITION Cours 2019-20: “Fake News”
Més de 50 jóves reflexionen al voltant de les diferentes formes que adopten les notícies falses “Fake News”, com identificar-les i neutralitzar-les. Participan 4 instituts públics de L’H: Apel·els Mestres, Jaume Botey, Pedraforca i Bellvitge. Espectacle sense estrena per motius de pandèmia.
2nd EDITION Cours 2018-19: “La violència en el punt de mira jove“
Reflexionem sobre les diferents formes que adopta la violència, exposant una visió crítica sobre un fet que envolta el nostre dia a dia. Sí, ja sabem que una agressió és violència però, ho pot ser també una mirada, un anunci a la tele o fins i tot, la talla d’uns pantalons? Parlem de les víctimes i dels agressors. De l’odi a les minories i del poder quan estem en grup. De quan sofrim violència però també de quan la exercim. Hi participen 4 Instituts: Jaume Botey, Apel·les Mestres, Vilumara i Pedraforca, de l’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
