A space where you can be yourself

At Plàudite, we take special care to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere within our groups.
We want everyone to feel heard, respected, valued and supported.

Theatre helps us put ourselves in other people’s shoes, discover different points of view and understand that everyone has something unique to contribute.

And all of this happens while we play, perform characters, invent stories, move, laugh and create theatre together.

For children: learning through play

For a child, taking part in theatre can mean finding the courage to speak in front of others, discovering that their ideas matter, learning to listen or finding a group where they feel comfortable and welcome.

Theatre also develops memory, attention, concentration, verbal and physical expression and imagination – skills that will stay with them far beyond the stage.

For young people: a space of their own

Adolescence is a time of discovery, change and developing one’s own identity.
Theatre provides a safe space to express yourself, connect with others and experiment without needing to have all the answers.

Playing different characters also allows us to discover more about ourselves, understand other realities and build confidence.

And theatre for adults too

It is never too late to start doing theatre.
Adults find a space to step away from the rush of everyday life, awaken their creativity, express themselves, meet new people and rediscover the joy of play.
