A Community and Social Theater production co-created and performed by women from the Global South, committed activists who reveal the structural violence in the Global South and in Europe for being women and defenders of Life and the Earth A show to give voice to the ‘Ecofeminism, forced migration and Human Rights, with post function colloquium .
The Ecofeminist movement of the Global South is a social struggle of women activists against institutional, colonial and feminicidal violence, with a holistic conception that respects Nature and its inhabitants . Thousands of women social rights activists are murdered every year in the Global South. Corrupt networks want to silence their voices, silence their cries for justice. Year after year, thousands of women are subjected to the payment of abusive fees to mafias for being women with their own businesses. Every year thousands of children are kidnapped, and women overexploited by companies that destroy the natural ecosystem of the Global South. Every year thousands of women, eco-feminists and human rights defenders, fighters for indigenous peoples are killed for denouncing corruption, the removal of rights, injustice and murder. Regarding the ecofeminist movements, Yayo Herrero tells us: “they are firmly established in the territory. In them, an emancipatory process takes place for the people who integrate them who become agents of resistance, struggle and change. The purpose of these struggles are the dignity and sustenance of lives that are worth living and the joy of being lived. This generates a type of mobilization grounded in the earth and bodies.” From his book
Ecofeminisms The sustainability of life.
